For learners who prefer an immersive classroom atmosphere, our in-house private classes take place at the Alliance Française premises in Pretoria. These lessons offer face-to-face interaction with your teacher, allowing for immediate feedback, dynamic conversation practice, and hands-on activities. The Alliance’s vibrant environment, surrounded by cultural events, exhibitions, and a community of French learners, creates the perfect setting to stay motivated. In-house classes are ideal for those who enjoy a structured learning space and benefit from being physically present with their instructor.
For the adult private tuition, we also offer two options of In-Person classes or Online private classes.

The classes can be organised either at the Alliance Française de Pretoria, or wherever it is most convenient to you (transport will be invoiced from the Alliance Française de Pretoria address).
Once you’ve had your first lesson with your Private Teacher, they will recommend materials that will help you hit your language learning goals.
The length of your lessons is entirely up to you! Our minimum package is 10 hours, which you can structure as 1.5-hour sessions at the Alliance Française de Pretoria, or 2-hour sessions if held off-site. You can increase the total number of hours if needed after consultation.
We totally understand that life happens, and you may need to cancel a private lesson. We ask you to give your teacher and your class coordinator in writing a 24 hours’ notice.
The class coordinator will match you with the teacher we feel is best for you.
