Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully

1. The Alliance Française reserves the right to reject applications for student enrolment.
2. Membership is compulsory for adult students for in-site courses and gives access to the Library (valid one year from date of registration, see separate Terms & Conditions for the use of the Library)
3. Fees and course material are payable in advance by bank transfer, cash, credit card, or debit order.
4. Proof of payment must be brought to our reception or sent to beginning of the course in order to collect the study material).
5. When you enrol for classes at the Alliance Française de Pretoria, you agree to pay the full amount of your tuition fees.
6. No refunds or credits will be made for partial, discontinued or interrupted attendance of course.
7. Even if an employer/third party intends to pay tuition, you are still responsible for the payment of your account if no payment is made before the due date.
8. The signatory hereto indemnifies the Alliance Française against liability of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising for loss or damage to property, injury or death while on the premises of the Alliance Française of Pretoria.
9. If the required quorum to start a group class is not reached, and therefore the class cannot begin, the Alliance Française will offer the students 3 possibilities:
   • To join a class of the same level at a different time slot (subject to availability)
   • To wait until the next session when a quorum is reached
   • To ask for a refund of tuition fees and material expenses, provided no markings have been made herein.
10. It is the responsibility of the students to inform the teacher of their absence. The Alliance Française de Pretoria is not obligated to provide catch up classes to compensate for the classes missed.
11. If a teacher is sick, absent or incapacitated, the classes will either be postponed or a replacement teacher will be found.
12. Parking is available outside the Alliance Française of Pretoria. We encourage everyone to please report any suspicious activity. Parking is entirely at your own risk. The management and personnel do not accept any claim arising out of injury, death, theft, loss or damage to property, or any other similar occurrence and/or accident causing damages to you or your property, including that of third parties, within the confines, or on any part of the property.
13. The Alliance Française de Pretoria is completely compliant with the relevant acts set forth within the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of 26 November 2013. All your personal information may be accessed or destroyed as per your request upon completing the Application Form for Data Access, which can be found here.

Enrolment in a course at the Alliance française de Pretoria implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
